“Concerning Death” by Furkan Ercan

   Posted by: drowtruth   in Poetry

I didn’t know how would I die, but i knew I would be dead.

I didn’t know when would I die, but i knew I would be dead in any
moment.

I didn’t know how many people would remember me after I’m gone, but I
knew how I would be remembered.

I didn’t know who would bury my body, but I knew who would come after
everyone’s left.

I didn’t know who or what would kill me, but I knew who would come to
take my soul.

I didn’t know where would I die, but I knew where would I go after
death.

I didn’t know whether I would go to heaven or hell, but I knew I
wouldn’t stay in this world…

this is a great Poem. It well establishes metaphysical phenomena on life and death and makes one to ponder and look for answers governing life and death. is the death of the body also the death of consciousness. Is our consciousness only our physical brain? Rohitash

Moving poetry dealing with the reality for all of us. Word placement makes this write easy to read. With Faith we know we will be with Him where we believe He is.
