Why I love You

   Posted by: admin   in Poetry

My love for you

is not for the beauty

which I see from the outside,

but for the beauty in your inner being,

which is compassionate,

loving and caring to all

to those little homeless children

and the old lady begging near the bank.

Your soul radiates

some forms and feelings

that touch the inner being in me.

In this relationship,

there are no conditions,

no possessiveness, no selfish arguments

but just the will for us to be,

together for the companionship

to view the world holding hands

from age young –till old.

Off course –there is beauty in your touch,

in your smell–of flower, in your voice—of music

and in the way your eyes radiates the charm

which makes me believe in God

and that someday, there be end to human suffering.

This outer beauty of you is just temporary,

with time your body will age,

your skin will shrink,

your voice will change;

but–your eyes will always remain the same

as they reveal your compassion

and the inner being in you

which I am in love with,

and will be, till the end of this material body,

may our souls will be together after death,

and we will be companions again when birth

in our later lives.
